Today it's World Water Day.
This year The Netherlands is host of the international celebration which carries a theme of water cooperation: working together on water security.

World Water Day is held yearly to raise awareness amongst a broad public concerning global water problems.
For us it's an important day, because at MARIE-STELLA MARIS we care about water every day; specifically about the limited access to clean drinking water.

Since 2010, access to clean drinking water is a human right. However, 780 million people still go without daily water.
And we want to do something about this. Not just today, but every day.
