WATER FOR BILIBIZA

In this project several small villages around Bilibiza will be provided with appropriate WASH facilities and training. We support 750 people from the village Natuco, which is only one of the villages in the project (the 2nd phase). Access to clean drinking water will be realized through the installation of communal tube wells with Rope pumps, latrines and promoting household water filters. Also we help strengthen our local partner GSB to develop a WASH production & training centre and focus on self-supply and income generating activities. This is based on the proven Farmers Club Approach, in which smallholder farmers (both men & women) are trained in conservation farming and learn to increase production using Rope pumps for irrigation.
